From September, we will have all pupils on site and learning in their new classes for the academic year. Children will be learning mainly in their classes as normal, enjoying a range of learning opportunities and experiences as they acquire new knowledge and skills in line with the full National Curriculum. Children will be taught appropriate learning related to the year group they are entering in September, and comprehensive assessments will be used to identify children who are in particular need of ‘catch-up’ programmes and support, which will be finalised throughout the term as we receive further guidance from the DfE and from the local authority.
This document should be read in conjunction with the Risk Assessment which has also been shared and provides information regarding safety and workplace practices we can all follow to mitigate risks.
This document has been prepared in line with the guidance shared in the DfE’s ‘Guidance for Full Re- Opening’, as well as recommendations for best practice.
