In school, we use these prayers every day. In the morning, before lunch, and before hometime. It might be nice for you to continue to use these.

Reception will be learning about why Christmas is special to Christians.

We will be answering questions to the following:

-How did Mary know she was going to have a baby?

-How do Christians prepare for Christmas?

-Why do we celebrate Christmas? And why is it special to Christians?

Reception 2025 School Tours


Thank you for showing an interest in St. George's CE Primary School. If you would like to join one of our onsite visits for a school tour, please fill in the form below. 

If possible, please add any questions you might have in advance so we can cover them on the day. If you can't make a school tour, please contact the school office at office@stgps.org.uk or 02077034772 to arrange a suitable time.We can't wait to welcome you to this hidden gem of a school. 

 

Additionally - we are pleased to announce that we are extending our wraparound childcare provision on site. From January 2025, we will have an after school provider on site until 6pm - Monday to Friday. Reception children for the intake in September 2025 will automatically receive (if you would like) 1 free session in after school club until 5pm on a first come, first served basis for the Reception year.
