How to make a fossil

We made our own fossils! We have studied the fossilization process, and so we could talk about the different stages. First, we created our own fossil imprints in clay. Then we covered our clay with plaster. This reflected how mud, sand and silt covers the animal skeleton, object, plant or footprint and fossilizes it. Later, we drew the journey our fossils made.
