Visiting a Hindu Mandir

On Wednesday 22nd February. Year 3 visited the Caribbean Cultural Hindu Centre in Brixton. We learnt that this building is welcoming of all faiths besides Hinduism. Inside the temple, we noticed many different objects that are linked with Hindusim; such as statues and pictures of the deities, the Hindu Holy Books (Vedas), an altar, flower garlands, bells and the Aum symbol.
