Year 2 to the Tate Modern

Year 2 went to the Tate Modern Museum on Tuesday. We had a wonderful time exploring two different sculptures in the museum.

In one group, we thought about the different sounds the sculpture might make as we looked at it and we made ou own score. We performed our scores to each other. We then had to create our own Journey to school artwork using symbols and sounds.

The other group looked at a sculpture of tongues. They acted out being tongues and then created their own tongues. they thought about where their tongues might take them.

We had such a great day out!
